Mother’s Day 2010

I’m glad she likes reading. And even though she doesn’t know how to actually read words, she makes them up! How imaginative!
I was trying to get her attention from watching TV.

haha i sit like that too at the dinner table. my mom scolded me once, “put down your leg! you’re not an ah pek at a kopitiam! later you’ll have the bad habit and end up sitting like that in public!”
i thought that was a ridiculous idea but i put my leg down anyway to appease her. until one time we were out for dinner at a kopitiam and i accidentally tucked one leg under my armpit and caught the DEATH GLARE from me mom. oops?
