Resorts World Sentosa

I photographed the soft opening of Resorts World Sentosa this morning. I have never ever stepped into a casino before and it was quite an experience. And it was quite a surreal feeling to be inside with all the lights, machines, dealers and tables.
The surreal feeling didn’t last very long though, as it was a perpetual scrum fest while tonnes of other photographers and I were jostling with each other, squashed like sardines trying to get the best shot. It was a nightmare. There were those with point-and-shoot cameras too (I have no idea who they were representing) and some even took to resting their arms on my shoulders without apologising or even asking first! They promptly got butt-shoved and had a massive shoulder shake from me — how RUDE!
Anyhow, you can view some of the pictures I took here. I had fun, but I don’t think I’ll spend $100 on the levy to go in the next time.
