Deleted Twitter
Posted on 02.14.10 to Personal by JoanI deleted my twitter account a few days ago, because I didn’t like the person I was becoming on twitter. I was passive aggressive and had absolutely no censorship whatsoever. Also, I realised I spent more time checking my twitter instead of actually living my life.
The past few days, I actually experienced twitter-withdrawal-symptoms. I found myself constantly wanting to check it, etc, and felt a little lost. But I channeled it into work and doing other things, and I found that I actually have time to do other stuff.
What’s surprising though, is how fast someone has taken my username. It’s not very common and means absolutely nothing — so why do people keep on taking it? How many ‘valska’s are there out there?
On another note, www.twitter.com/joanleong is still around — for official stuff.
