Boycott Gusttimo
Posted on 01.17.10 to Personal by JoanI just had an awful experience at Gusttimo at Ion. A group of 10 of us, adjourned there for dessert after lunch. We had to sit at the outdoor seating area as the inside portion was full.
Apparently, the inside portion was for patrons going solely for ice-cream and the outdoor portion was for food and drinks.
Now, no one informed us about that policy till after we sat down, and all of us had already ordered our dessert. Then they tell us that we each had to have a drink. And if we wanted water, it would cost us 85cents each.
The restaurant was not crowded at 3:30pm and the manager was very inflexible about their so-called policy, so we all stood up and left.
I am entirely disgusted with this level of service and I would glad spend much more money with another establishment that doesn’t dictate what I have to order.
