Christmas Is Coming
Posted on 11.04.09 to Personal, Photography by JoanThe Christmas decorations are up early this year. I heard that it’s because of APEC — retailers want to cash in on the hype and also make-up for shopping days lost due to road closures and what not.
I’m not complaining. Christmas IS my favourite time of the year, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.
I recently assisted on a Christmas photoshoot and here are some of the outtakes I took in between punching out paper flowers and trying to come up with kickass product set-up.
John, da photographer, who stole my scissors. And I thought I was going to steal his trade secrets.
Spent some time punching out these flowers and my heart cracked each time a piece fell onto the dirty floor.

My favourite shot of the day. Decorative stars made out of sugar for pastries. They weren’t very sweet, strangely.
