Clare: Mummy, can I have a Yakult, please? (After she spots the empty bottle of Yakult, which I had just consumed.)

Me: No, Clare. You’re sick. You can have one when you’re better. (At which point, I started coughing because I was sick too.)

Clare: But mummy, you’re also sick. And you have a Yakult. Can I have a Yakult, please?

Speechless, I reminded her to go for a toilet break so that I could distract her from my misdemeanour!
