Official Delurking Day
Posted on 01.15.09 to Personal by JoanBecause I read my friends’ posts every two days now (instead of the usual 10 times per day!), I’m pretty late with this. Apparently, it was Official Delurking Day on Monday (via Kristy’s mummy). But better late than never, I always say!
I started blogging 10 years ago, when I read Beverly’s blog. From writing on Diaryland, to hosting my own site and churning out a different layout every month, to Livejournal, my blogs have documented my life through depression, to recovery, to marriage, to pregnancy and parenthood, to now — when I’m hitting the almost-turning-30 crisis.
Through blogging, I got to know many awesome friends who have been such a wonderful support network through the good and the bad. I am very thankful for that.
So if you read my blog and never commented before, (or even if you have), leave a comment telling me where you came from and why you read this blog! Have fun delurking!

I chance upon your blog from my friend’s link to Karen Cheng’s, and from Karen’s to yours. That was probably when you were in 1st trimester of your pregnancy.

yup, i do visit your blog randomly and will comment if i have one. i started blogging almost 10yrs ago too and i kept some of the old HTML files because during that time, i signed up for my own domain name and hosted my own website. only much later i realised there was xanga and now livejournal. hardly blog anymore since i get busy with work and spending time to Scarlett. or i have been really lazy.

just saying hi. i discovered your blog when you went on the TV show on blogging. I can’t remember the name of the show but it was hosted by flying dutchman and another lady. And you talked about how you met your husband online. it’s been great entertaining read and also inspiring at times :)
