Reading Ian’s review on the Panasonic LX-3 (and it’s affordable price), I’m now thinking of replacing my Canon G7. I currently have the LX-2 (which produces pictures I actually much prefer over the Canon G7) but I’ve lent it to my sister who’s picking up photography. Terence prefers the video quality of the Canon so we’ve kept it between the two prosumer cameras. But seriously, look at the packaging of the LX-3! It’s so old skool and so cute!
However, if the LX-3 doesn’t happen, I’d be most pleased to play around with the mini Rolleiflex (via Kelly)! How cute it is for a fun camera! On top of that, it’s digital too! Well, it’s certainly much cheaper than getting a digital back for my Hasselblad.

OMG, i gasped at the pic of the LX-3 – it’s beautiful! makes me want another camera :D
i have the Rolleiflex, it’s a cute little thing but no means top notch LOL a great conversation starter!

Is the LX3 really as good as it looks?
Just wondering if anyone knows, the LX3 looks like it is able to change the lens… or am I becoming blind?

Hi Joan,
The mini Rolleiflex looks like a fun piece! I was just wondering where could i get it (would you know how much it’ll cost too)? Would like to buy this as a xmas gift for my boyfriend who has great interest in photography.
