Taking a Breather
Posted on 06.21.07 to Clare, Personal by JoanI just cleared more than a thousand emails from my various inboxes. That’s how it is when we get into production: no time for housekeeping, either at work or at home.
Clare turned eight months three days ago and I tried to go through her photos to find some to put up with her newsletter and realised, with much horror, that we didn’t take that many! And the few that we did take are already up in the past entries! I feel horribly guilty about that actually, like I let a month of my daughter’s development slip by unnoticed.
We just wrapped production for a new gameshow coming up in July on Channel 5. We’re currently in post for it, so am taking things slower. This is a relatively short production than our other shows, which is kinda nice way to start the cycle of work for me again, since having Clare. I felt bad working over the weekends, but it was just three weekends when I worked one day out of two, so it’s still good.
*sigh* My daughter is growing up so super fast.
