Accomodation in NY is expensive. My friend can only afford to stay in the Queens area. She got freaked out everyday just to commute into the city. yeah, since the hotel suck, just spend more time seeing the city. Perhaps they feel that there is so much to see and do that people don't spend much time in their rooms?!
